The Balance Money is a publication that features financial content aimed at a younger audience. The e-commerce team requested that a template be made for the content that involved their partner program. The goal of this project was to create a modular template that can be used across financial content.

The Balance Money is a publication that features financial content aimed at a younger audience. The e-commerce team requested that a template be made for the content that involved their partner program. The goal of this project was to create a modular template that can be used across financial content.
The Backgrounds
The inspiration for this project were the charts and graphs used conventionally to communicate financial data, and trends. This combined with The Balance’s existing color pallet to create a light airy youthful aesthetic. These act as the backgrounds for designers to collage over in order to create a branded and uniform look.
The Collages
The first and foremost function of these images were to provide context for financial services ranging from best CD rates to flight costs by airline. Each photo is overlaid with a standard gradient and logo badge in the upper left or right corners in order to add another layer of branding, so when an image is seen on search engine results page the branding is clearly from The Balance Money.
